Introduction

Seal stones are items that allow you to seal tamed familiars in order to either socket them into your gear for bonus stats or used to give talent points. There are currently 4 grades of Seal Stones; Common, Elite, Heroic and Legendary.

Common Seal Stones may be Lv. 10 to Lv. 60; each able to seal only familiars with an equal or lower level. They are available from any General Merchant.
Elite, Heroic and Legendary Seal Stones can seal any level familiar of the same grade. They must be farmed from specific bosses or bought on the auction house.

How to use Seal Stones

Right click on the Seal Stone of appropriate grade and of an equal or higher level, this will open the Familiar Info window, then select the familiar you want to seal; this process is irreversible (see below for reversing the process).

How to insert Sealed familiars into gear

Sealed Familiars can be inserted into gear sockets in the Seal Stone window opened by Alt + Right Clicking the gear piece. Place the desired sealed familiars into the slots available, then select confirm.

How to remove Sealed Familiars from gear

Sealed Familiars can be recovered (as a pet) from gear by using a Seal Stone Extractor. Removing a sealed familiar this way will turn it into a level 1 Pet in your familiar storage.

Alternatively if you do not wish to recover the familiar, then you can remove the sealed familiar by opening the Seal Stone window by Alt + Right Clicking the item and either Right Click, drag and drop out, or insert a new seal stone over the one you wish to remove. Removing a sealed familiar this way will require confirmation, cost a small fee, and the removed sealed familiar will be destroyed in the process.
