With the addition of the Pet Capture system, pets can now be captured similarly to how we tame familiars. If you ever encountered a monster and wanted to transform it into your own little companion, now it might be your chance to catch the powerful and rare pets of the world of Icarus. You can visit Glendor for an introductory quest

Capturing a pet
In order to capture a pet you must meet its capture conditions. Use a capture card and possess its monster beads in your inventory. Oftentimes, monsters will require you to lower their health before they become available for capture.
How to capture a pet
Right-click on a Capture Card to create a magic circle, place it on the location of the pet that you want to capture and left-click to proceed. If you are using Action Mode and encountered troubles with your capture being canceled while using the capture card, try to place the item on your skill bar and use it from there.

Make sure that you have the corresponding monster beads in your inventory bag. If you are using Fated Beads, a simple Capture Card will suffice, but if you are using regular beads, try to use a Shining Capture Card as it will increase your capturing chance. Similarly to familiar taming, once the capture started, a sequence of letters (W,A,S,D) will appear in random order. Press the corresponding keys on your keyboard. When the capturing mini-game is done correctly the success bar increases.

It is worth noting that the capturing success rate is independent of the taming success rate, so taming chance buffs do not influence the outcome.
