Familiar Evolution is a system that allows you to increase a grade of a familiar, by combining multiple lower-grade familiars.
Evolving familiars
Familiar Evolution requires a minimum of two familiars to be used as materials in the process. The required amount depends on the grade of the familiar.
You have to use the exact amount that is required, it's not possible to evolve less or more familiars.
A familiar must reach its maximum level and not wear any equipment in order to be eligible for use. Additionally, there are only 5 familiars that can be evolved at the moment - Brakarr Gallant, Everbloom Gorilla, Silvermight Gorilla, Terror Kerav and Torkai.
How to evolve a familiar:
- Press the Evolution button in the Familiar Info window to open the Familiar Evolution window.
- Right-click on the familiars that you wish to use as materials or drag and drop them into the empty slots and press the Evolve button.
When the evolution is successfully completed, all the familiars used as materials disappear and the newly obtained one will be added to your familiar inventory. If the evolution fails, all the familiars used as materials disappear and you gain nothing. This can be prevented by spending Elluns to ensure that only one of the familiars will disappear upon failiure. The cost depends on the grade of familiars used in evolution.
